  • Many thanks to Meredith Goad of The Portland Press Herald  for writing this wonderful article that touches on us, Chef Jacob, and our collective (and creative) responsiveness to customer feedback!
  • Wednesdays are generally awesome anyway, as Wednesdays are also "Appel on Wine" days in the Portland Press Herald. Check out this week's column, in which Joe takes a different look at Pinot girigio. (By the way... Portland Phoenix Best Food Blogger Joe Ricchio suggests that Joe's column is one of the best things the Press Herald has going for it. That is a whole lot of praise right there.)
  • And finally, we wish a very happy birthday to Cultivating Community Executive Director, Craig Lapine.
